2020 Prairie Canada Carving Championship Show & Competition Cancellation

April 17 - 19, 2020
Pembina Curling Club, Winnipeg

In response to the Covid-19 issue we are experiencing, and with government direction to cancel upcoming gatherings of more than 250 people, we are sorry to announce that this year’s Prairie Canada Show, scheduled for April 18th and 19th, will be cancelled.  This includes workshops scheduled before, during and following the show.

Our Board has been working hard to pull together what we thought was an exciting show, with many opportunities to celebrate Manitoba 150, display many incredible pieces of artwork, allow participation in exciting workshops, and most of all be a gathering of so many great friends in the carving community that we only get to see once a year.  Unfortunately, in the interests of health and safety during this pandemic, it is not to be this year.

We are working now to determine the steps required to “unplan” such a large event and would ask your patience as we work out plans to contact many of you regarding resolving your commitments to date.  Thanks to everyone for all of your support and commitment to the Prairie Canada Show.  Stay tuned for ongoing updates.  Just think of how many carvings you will have to look forward to entering next year!
